the best guide i could find , and i did research quite a few on and offline is the oh fransson 's quilt-along. it's step-by-step tutorials for every little detail in making a quilt. from choosing fabrics to finishing.
adding to that - a guide to making sure your seems are in order (and in the right place).
now, the amazing 'oh fransson''s guide does mention it's better to practice some small project before starting a huge quilt, so i'll give a try to some paper foundation pachwork (two left hand , can't sew strait :p)
